DISNEYLAND’S LOUISIANA LEMONADE

We ate at the Blue Bayou while we were at Disneyland a few months ago. If you haven’t eaten there – I would HIGHLY recommend it! It is the funnest atmosphere. It’s in New Orleans square – and if you get a table on the water – you can watch riders who are on Pirates of the Caribbean float by! There are the cutest bistro lights and light-up menus. And just as good as (if not better than) the Atmosphere – is the food. 

The gumbo is SO good, and the kids mac ‘n cheese is one of my favorites! Haha! If you go for lunch – you have to get their Monte Cristo Sandwich. The icing on the cake was there drink: Louisiana Lemonade. It was HEAVENLY – and it came with a special glowing 60th Anniversary Diamond floating inside. This was my re-creation at home and it was a hit! Now I just need to re-create that amazing atmosphere… 😉

INGREDIENTS

• 1 liter of Sprite
• 1 liter of light Minute Maid Lemonade (it lists this specifically on the menu)
• 2 tablespoons mango syrup
• 2 tablespoons raspberry syrup

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Mix all ingredients together and serve chilled.
